VAYA
is an independent contemporary dance company directed by TINA HALFORD. The company produces and creates their own pieces, which are presented at festivals and in international venues. Furthermore, the company gives workshops and are involved in the production of cultural events such as the NEXO festival. VAYA is based in Freiburg (Germany) with close ties to Central America.
The company was founded in 2017.
The projects and pieces of VAYA explore HUMAN MOVEMENT from an artistic, social, and athletic perspective.
