A DANCE PIECE

“Where do I stop?
Where does what surrounds me begin?”
(a)ROUND is a dynamic & captivating dance piece about turning, infinity and the question of beginning and end.
Two bodies interweave, forming a delicately balanced system, almost seeming to hypnotise each other and the audience through constant rotation.
They challenge physical limits and engage in a dialogue with gravity, centrifugal force and balance.
A physical reflection on the fleeting, fragile yet powerful
nature of life. Nothing stays the same, everything is in
motion and in permanent change.
“(a)ROUND” was created as a result of the first research phase for the piece “viendo viento”. It now is a short piece suitable for outdoor stages, alternative spaces or theaters.
